Xbox One: Multiplayer and Party Updates for March 2014

Note: The Xbox One System Update which was suppose to launch today will instead come out later this week.
Now, the March 2014 Update which will launch early in the month before Titanfall will address the following:
– Faster access to your Friends list. The Social App will now show your Friends list first allowing quick access into a party or sending a message.
– When you join an Xbox Live Party, Party Chat will now be turned on by default.
– The game your playing won’t interfere with Party Chat, this means everyone in the party can play different games and just chat or everyone can be playing the same game! It’s your choice!
– Moving forward, new Multiplayer titles will include an “Invite friends to Party” option to allow you to invite players to your game manually and into Party Chat.
– A “Recent Players” list will now be added showing you a list of players you’ve played with recently so you can add each other and make new friends after a game.
This Update launches early March 2014. Marc Whitten also said some new in-depth videos showing these new features will also be available in the coming weeks! :)
