Making things as easy and comfortable as possible for yourself is a top priority when making improvements to Meta Quest 3. New from Kiwi Design are the K4 Comfort Head Strap and the Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening, two essential accessories that will take your virtual reality experience to the next level. These products are well-designed and functional, so you can upgrade the comfort of your headset or enhance your controller grip.

Starting with the K4 Comfort Head Strap, let’s cover the many reasons why this accessory is perfect for your virtual reality setup.

My Experience with the KIWI Design K4 Comfort Head Strap for Meta Quest 3

The KIWI Design K4 Comfort Head Strap is a recent upgrade for my Meta Quest 3, and I must say, I am truly impressed. Here are a few reasons why this head strap could be the perfect upgrade from the stock one if you’re still unsure. Let’s get into it!

Comfort Like No Other

To begin, the level of comfort is unparalleled. The adaptive headrest makes extended gaming sessions much more bearable by conforming to the shape of my head. Headset fatigue is a thing of the past thanks to the memory foam and the widened top strap, which effectively distribute pressure. Now playing Asgard’s Wrath 2 for hours on end doesn’t leave me with neck pain, which is nice!

Quality You Can Feel

These are first-rate materials. They seem tough and durable but also have a high-end feel thanks to the thick memory foam and plush leather. Even after hours of wearing it, this strap still felt comfortable. I like that KIWI Design hasn’t compromised on the strap’s quality; it feels sturdy and trustworthy.

Super Easy to Adjust

I like how the pivot can be quickly detached and replaced with a dampener. From zero to fifty-two degrees, adjusting the headset’s angle is a snap. For people like me who wear glasses, it’s incredibly useful. You can fine-tune the fit while reclining on the sofa or in bed thanks to the integrated adjustment knob. These are the kinds of little things that add up to a huge comfort boost.

Fits Any Situation

This strap works great for various activities, including gaming, watching movies, and even VR workouts. A major plus is the ease with which the fit can be adjusted. Until you actually have it, you have no idea how important it is. With the K4 Comfort Head Strap, the headset is perfectly balanced and won’t weigh you down.

Sleek and Portable

Compared to other head straps, this one feels more lightweight thanks to its balanced and modern design. Taking design cues from the Quest 3, it’s far more portable and user-friendly. It’s perfect for my day-to-day needs, whether I’m playing games or simply watching videos.

Easy Setup

It didn’t take long at all to set up the K4 Comfort Head Strap. The adjustable top strap requires a small amount of adjustment, but it’s quick and relatively easy to do. All things considered, it’s a straightforward method for a noticeable improvement in ease.

  • 1 Fitting Wheel
  • 1 Adjustable Top Strap

Overall, the KIWI Design K4 Comfort Head Strap has been a fantastic addition to my Meta Quest 3. I’d suggest it to anyone seeking an upgrade; it significantly improved my comfort level during long periods of use. Consider this strap if you’re sick of the factory strap and are looking for an upgrade that doesn’t skimp on quality, comfort, or usability.

Kiwi Design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening for Quest 3: A Game-Changer for Comfort and Convenience

The Kiwi Design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening is, without a doubt, the finest accessory I’ve ever purchased for my Quest 3. These grips are great if you want to improve your grip and your gaming experience at the same time.

Swift Battery Replacement

The layout of the battery compartment is a massive improvement over earlier grip cover versions. I really like that you can swap out the batteries without taking the whole cover off. An ingenious yet uncomplicated feature that streamlines the process is the plastic battery pull tab. Pull the tab, open the compartment, and you’re good to go—no more fumbling around mid-game.

Comfortable and Secure Grip

Made from premium silicone, the grips are incredibly comfortable to hold. I think they make the controllers a little chunkier, which is great, especially for people with bigger hands. Enhanced friction from the grips’ extra texture means a steadier grasp even during long hours of gaming. Even after several hours of use, the controllers won’t slide because the material stays cool and dry.

Seamless Tracking

I love how the tracking signals are kept intact by using conductive silicone and well-positioned holes. Kiwi Design obviously spent a lot of time thinking about how to make these grips work without affecting gameplay. One major advantage is that I haven’t seen a decrease in tracking performance since utilizing them. This is a huge plus as I’ve tried covers from other brands and found controller tracking was hampered by their design.

Protection You Can Rely On

The controllers are well-protected by these grips as well. You won’t have to worry about the controllers sliding or getting scratched thanks to the nested frill design. I think this extra safeguard is crucial if you’re anything like me and sometimes get a bit carried away when playing games!

Adjustability and Fit

Additionally, the knuckle straps are a fantastic addition. They are metal buckle adjustable, so they are comfortable for a wide range of hand sizes. I really like how the straps can be adjusted to fit different hand sizes thanks to the rotatable rivet. It adds a level of customization that makes sharing your VR experience with family and friends a sinch. Although the Velcro strap feels stiff at first, it becomes more accommodating the more you use it.

Installation

Because it is a unibody design, installation was relatively easy. The grips attach securely to the controllers and remain in place, even when playing at a high speed, thanks to the grommets. The cover didn’t come off, which is something that has happened with other grips.

What’s in the Box?

  • 1 pair of controller grip covers with knuckle straps
  • 1 pair of battery compartment covers
  • 6 plastic battery pull tabs

In conclusion, the Kiwi Design Knuckle Grips Cover with Battery Opening is a fantastic upgrade for your Quest 3 controllers. They are more comfortable to wear, have a firmer hold, and make changing batteries a snap. I love how they complement my VR setup, and the construction is top-notch. You can play Beat Saber to your heart’s content without fear of your controllers flying out of your hands and through the window! If you’re serious about your VR gaming, these grips are definitely worth the investment.
