Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller will cost $79.99

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been revealed and it will release on June 5, 2025 for $449.99. Along with the console reveal we received information for its accessories and controllers. The Pro Controller will be making its return for the Switch 2 and it comes with more featurs.

The Switch 2 Pro Controller will cost $79.99 and it will feature the C Button for GameChat and an Audio Jack for the first time. It will also be only used for the Switch 2 and cannot be used on its predecessor.

Here are the features of the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller:

• HD rumble 2

• Motion controls

• Built-in amiibo functionality**

• Capture Button

• C Button for GameChat***

• GL/GR buttons that you can map to any button you choose.

• Audio jack – 4 pole stereo 3.5mm mini plug (CTIA standard)

The Switch 2 Pro Controller will also come with a USB-C charging cable in the box. It’s expected to release on June 5, 2025, but pre-orders are not available yet. 

Other items releasing for the Switch 2 is the brand-new Camera that is part of the new GameChat feature and there will be Joy-Con 2’s to purchase separately along with straps, and more.
