This month has been reported to have a new State of Play from Sony at some point, and it seems that Microsoft is going to have a “little show,” said Jez Corden earlier in the week. It has now been reported by NateTheHate that the Xbox show is going to broadcast on Thursday, April 16.
Nate posted on Twitter that this will be the venue where Metro 2039 will be revealed. The insider isn’t sure of the branding of the show. It’s hard to say if it’ll be like the “Xbox Partner Preview” that aired a few weeks ago.
The Microsoft show will broadcast on April 16th & is the venue of choice for the Metro 2039 reveal. I don't know the branding of the show.
Before anyone asks: No, I have not been able to confirm the previously rumored State of Play date information yet. https://t.co/Uj831hs4b1

Tom Warren replied to the video clip featuring Jez Corden, saying the show will be an “ID@Xbox Show”. No further information was shared, and it’d certainly be an interesting spot for Metro 2039 to be there.
Recent claims say Metro 2039 is the sequel to Metro Exodus. Previously, the developers were working on Metro 4, but it was canceled.
Other Xbox-related news includes the possibility of Call of Duty being excluded from Day One releases on Xbox Game Pass.
