343 Industries is planning on removing the Halo Waypoint mobile app from Windows Phone, iOS, and Android stores on August 1, 2014. This includes removing the ATLAS feature, the mobile map strategy companion for Halo: Reach. If you do keep the app installed, you will still be able to view your stats, but if you delete it you won’t be able to re-download it. In addition to this, the rendering of Halo: Reach Spartans will cease to update on after August 1, so be sure to change it to what you want your Spartan to be remembered by. The reasoning behind these removals are so that 343 can continue to dedicate more resources for upcoming projects such as Halo Xbox One.
