mario kart gta 6

Since the Switch 2 was revealed by Nintendo this last week with its price being $449.99 and the price of Mario Kart World being $79.99, a lot of outrage has taken place. Before this news, there was speculation that GTA 6 could cost up to $100 for its standard edition.

Now that the newest Mario Kart will cost $80, it doesn’t seem crazy that Grand Theft Auto 6 could cost just the same, if not even more. An analyst has reported that GTA 6 is projected to cost at least $100.

According to Michael Patcher, he predicts Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games will sell Grand Theft Auto 6 for $100 or more per unit. This would reward players with a large amount of in-game currency to be spent in GTA Online, the analyst says.

Michael Patcher stated previously, “We think a successful integration of GTA Online and GTA VI can lead to a $100 price point for the premium game”.

It won’t just be Mario Kart World costing users $79.99. Nintendo revealed that some Switch 2 Edition games, such as Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Zelda: Breath of the Wild, will cost the same, but they do come with upgrades and additional content.

GTA 6 is currently scheduled to release in Fall 2025. Take-Two Interactive has remained confident in its release window for the game.
